Rehab For Marijuana Addiction In Melbourne
At our facility in Melbourne, we are seeing an increase in the number of patients seeking treatment for an addiction to marijuana.
Over the course of the past few decades, there has been a gradual increase in the western world's tolerance for marijuana use. This has accelerated in recent times, in part because it has recently been legalised in more states in the United States.
Access was also made legal in the state of Victoria in 2016, at which time physicians were granted the ability to prescribe the drug to patients meeting certain medical criteria.
Simply because a drug is given the green light to be sold legally does not mean that it is free of the potential to become habit forming or addictive.
Approximately nine percent of people who try marijuana end up becoming addicted to it (source). The majority of people experiment with drugs for the first time during their teenage years and then begin using them again at some point during their adulthood.
Heroin Treatment Centre
In recent years, the use of heroin in Australia has reached nearly epidemic levels, putting the country on the verge of a public health crisis. This is something that particularly applies to younger generations. According to the Alcohol and Drug Foundation, nearly 2% of Australians aged 14 and older have tried the drug at some point in their lives, and that percentage is steadily growing.
Heroin has a very high potential for abuse, which is why so many people seek treatment at REFOCUS. If you are looking for heroin rehab in Melbourne, feel free to give us a call or continue reading for more information. This article will hopefully help those who are affected understand how this drug works as well as why it can be dangerous to manage the withdrawal process on one's own.
REFOCUS CAN HELP CHANGE YOUR LIFE
Getting treatment at a residential heroin rehab centre can mean the difference between a happy, sober life and one that is marred by addiction to the drug. Recovery Coaches Australia - Drug & Alcohol Rehab Treatment Clinic Melbourne

About Us
OUR STORY
Our years of experience as mentors and professionals led us to the conclusion that not all people's personalities are well-suited to the standard recovery process. Some of the people we met were change-seeking individuals who, for various reasons, were unable to undergo the months of treatment necessary to effect that change.
We saw an opportunity to create a programme that would help these people find recovery and keep them from falling through the cracks in the system, rather than letting them revert back to their abusive behaviour.
Services
RECOVERY COACHING
To help you avoid future substance abuse, your personal recovery coach will assist you in making constructive lifestyle changes and teaching you relevant new skills.
COUNSELLING
One-on-one conversations can help you gain the self-understanding and wisdom you need to break free from addiction.
24/7 CHAPERONE
Those at risk of relapsing or experiencing challenging times in their lives have access to a Chaperone who is available around the clock for support.
REHABILITATION
Our established connections with Australia's premier treatment centres allow us to take the guesswork out of locating the best possible centre for you or a loved one. There may be waiting lists and delays in receiving callbacks, making this process difficult and time consuming even under the best of circumstances. Getting the right care at the right time is stressful, but we can make the process easier and more efficient for you.
INTERVENTION
We work with licenced counsellors to assist with intervention implementation when necessary. Facilitated meetings like these can provide the initial boost needed to begin the recovery process, which may then progress to more intensive measures like one-on-one therapy or even rehabilitation.
FAQs About Rehab Treatment Clinic
While specific incentives differ from person to person, generally speaking, people start using drugs to escape or mask pain.
In some individuals, the onset of drug use can be from untreated psychiatric issues, including anxiety and depression. The rush of pleasure from using drugs can provide temporary solace from suffering, which can stem from much mental health or other issues, including the following:
- Trauma or abuse
- Mental illness
- Low self-esteem
- Poverty
- Relationship problems
- Loss of a loved one
- Stress
- Chronic pain or medical conditions
But whatever their reason for starting, once addiction sets in, the disease usually spirals more and more out of their control.
The sad truth is that more deaths, illnesses, and disabilities are caused by substance abuse than by any other preventable health condition. Prolonged drug dependence interferes with just about every organ in the human body, and while different drugs have different damaging effects, these are some of the common conditions substance abuse can cause:
- The damaged immune system, which increases susceptibility to infection
- Cardiovascular conditions, including heart attacks and collapsed veins
- Nausea, vomiting, and abdominal pain
- Liver overexertion or liver failure
- Seizures and strokes
- Widespread brain damage that can interfere with memory, attention, and decision-making, as well as permanent brain damage
Some of the worst effects of substance abuse aren't even health-related. Drug abuse can have a number of damaging consequences on an addict's social and emotional well-being, including:
- Loss of employment
- Relationship loss
- Incarceration
- Financial trouble
- Homelessness
- Risky sexual behaviour
Many problems can be reversed or minimised by getting sober, but there may be some health and emotional issues that simply won't heal with time. The best way to prevent permanent damage is to seek professional drug addiction treatment ASAP to overcome the addiction.
The classic picture of an alcoholic is someone who always drinks too much and whose life is falling apart because of it. But that's not always the reality. Some people seem to be just fine even though they abuse alcohol.
What is heavy drinking? For women, it's having more than three drinks a day or seven a week. For men, it's four or more per day or 14 a week. If you drink more than the daily or weekly limit, you're at risk.
That's not the only way to tell if you or someone you care about needs help. There are some other red flags. You might:
- Say you have a problem or joke about alcoholism
- Not keep up with major responsibilities at home, work, or school
- Lose friendships or have relationship problems due to drinking, but you don't quit alcohol
- Have legal problems related to drinking, such as a DUI arrest
- Need alcohol to relax or feel confident
- Drink in the morning or when you're alone
- Get drunk when you don't intend to
- Forget what you did while drinking
- Deny drinking, hide alcohol, or get angry when confronted about drinking
- Cause loved ones to worry about or make excuses for your drinking
Alcohol rehab and drug rehab are designed to treat the root causes of your addiction and challenge and change the maladaptive thinking processes that drive compulsive behaviours. Rehab can definitely be a life-changing and life-saving process. During the rehab process, you will undergo intensive therapy to unearth and treat the root causes of your particular addiction. With the alcohol or drugs safely removed from your system with medical detox, you will look better and feel better and be able to think more clearly. However, it is important to remember that addiction won't disappear overnight. You must use all of your recovery tools learned whilst in rehab and apply them to your daily life to maintain remaining well and abstinent.
On leaving rehab treatment, it is normal to feel a mixture of fear and excitement. Fear due to the fact that you will have learned the seriousness of the addiction and excitement due to returning back home to your family and loved ones. You may leave under the illusion that you are now able to deal with cravings easily. However, leaving the supportive environment of the rehab means finding the strength to continue recovery alone. Complacency and overconfidence are often what leads to relapse.
It's true that some people have a higher risk of abusing and becoming addicted to drugs. Knowing your risk factors can help you to be proactive in avoiding triggers and other situations that may make drug use more likely.
Here are some of the most common risk factors associated with drug addiction:
Being A Man.
Even though the progression of addictive disorders has been seen to be faster among women, men have a higher likelihood of becoming addicted to drugs.
Family History.
Is drug addiction common in your family? Researchers believe there may be a genetic predisposition to drug addiction, meaning if someone in your family has dealt with drug addiction, you have a higher risk of dealing with it yourself. This is only true among blood relatives, such as a parent, grandparent or sibling.
Mental Disorders.
Having other mental health problems such as anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), or attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) can make you more susceptible to drug addiction. This is because these disorders may sometimes lead to coping through drugs, alcohol or other substances.
Lack Of Family Involvement.
When parents aren't involved in their children's lives, or their children simply lack supervision, the risk of drug addiction goes up. This is because not only is it easier for the child to acquire and abuse drugs, but it also promotes difficult family situations and a lack of a bond, which may compel drug use.
Taking A Highly Addictive Drug.
Some drugs are more addictive than others. For instance, cocaine is known as a highly addictive drug. Painkillers may also create a faster tolerance and dependency. Even so, taking drugs that are thought to be "less addictive" can still put you on a path to drug addiction.
While the above risk factors may increase a person's chances of becoming addicted to drugs, anyone can succumb to drug abuse and addiction. Addiction recovery programs can help.
In addition to stopping drug abuse, the goal of treatment is to return people to productive functioning in the family, workplace, and community. According to research that tracks individuals in treatment over extended periods, most people who get into and remain in treatment stop using drugs, decrease their criminal activity and improve their occupational, social, and psychological functioning. For example, methadone treatment has been shown to increase participation in behavioural therapy and decrease both drug use and criminal behaviour. However, individual treatment outcomes depend on the extent and nature of the patient's problems, the appropriateness of treatment and related services used to address those problems, and the quality of interaction between the patient and his or her treatment providers.
In the process of active addiction, people suffering from substance use disorder lose material possessions, relationships with people, and other things that were once very important to them. As part of drug and alcohol rehab, you will strive to recover those things through acknowledging mistakes, fully immersing yourself in treatment, and working hard to make the necessary changes to beat the disease of addiction. Drug addiction often changes a person's behaviour, which affects all aspects of his or her life, including work and relationships. In residential rehab, patients do their best to regain their normal lives in a safe and healthy way.

The Melbourne Clinic - Drug & Alcohol Rehab Treatment
03 9429 4688

With 203 inpatient beds, a standalone Day Program centre, an Outreach Program, three consulting suites, and a Consultation-Liaison service, the Melbourne Clinic is Australia's largest private mental health clinic. The clinic also provides a Consultation-Liaison service for its patients.
To ensure that our patients receive the best care possible, we rely on the support and expertise of a comprehensive multidisciplinary team consisting of over 200 accredited Psychiatrists, Addiction Medicine specialists, Pain Medicine specialists, experienced registered mental health nurses, Allied Health Staff (Psychologists, Social Workers, Dietitians, Exercise Physiologist, Art Therapist, and Pastoral Care Worker) in consortia. All incoming calls and patients are prioritised by our Intake team, which is made up of experienced psychiatrists specialising in mental health.
What we offer here at The Melbourne Clinic is called Patient-Centred Treatment, and it refers to a method of providing healthcare that puts the patient's wants, needs, and priorities first. Our programmes and services are grounded in the recovery model.
The Melbourne Clinic is an example of accessible, patient-focused healthcare. Culture-aware and respectful service delivery is a top priority for our company. We recognise and value the complexity of an individual's identity. The Melbourne Clinic received the first-ever Rainbow Tick accreditation for a private mental health facility in 2017. We understand the importance of our patients' loved ones being here for them throughout the healing process, so we offer them both emotional and professional support.
Addiction Treatment Program
With respect to the physiological, psychological, social, and spiritual aspects of addiction, the programme will make an effort to address and comprehend the individual in the context of their surroundings.
Substitution You and your doctor can discuss pharmacotherapy options as part of your treatment.
Each and every one of these plans targets the underlying causes of addiction, both psychological and behavioural. The person can take charge of their own recovery while still being supported by loved ones.
REHABILITATION PLAN
Once a recommendation for rehabilitation services has been made, the Coordinator will contact you to schedule an evaluation. Pre-admission assessments can be conducted in person or over the phone, whichever is more practical for the patient or warranted by the complexity of the case. We strongly suggest that anyone in the midst of detox immediately begin talking with their treating physician and the Unit Manager about the possibility of a seamless transition into rehabilitation. It's important to keep in mind that many factors can influence this, such as the number of available beds in the ward and the complexity of individual cases.

First Step - Drug & Alcohol Rehab Treatment Clinic Melbourne
03 9537 3110
First Step's outpatient addiction and mental health clinic is the only one of its kind to include a full legal service. Over the course of the last two decades, we have helped tens of thousands of low-income Victorians and their families each year, at no cost to them.
Many of our clients have established routines thanks to their commitments to family, work, and school. However, our multidisciplinary team focuses on helping people who are at high risk of institutionalisation due to mental health issues, incarceration, homelessness, or other dire circumstances.
Here at First Step, we hold that effective and timely treatment is a matter of social justice that benefits everyone, and that addiction is a long-term, painful adaptation to trauma and neglect in childhood. On top of that, we think addiction is a treatable disease.
We put in a lot of effort to make sure people keep in touch with their loved ones, keep contributing to their communities, and keep their independence.
The First Step team is overjoyed to be launching Australia's first interprofessional "hub" for mental health and addiction just as governments and health professionals are beginning to place a premium on such facilities. Our innovative approach will be highlighted in the Royal Commission into Victoria's Mental Health System's final report, which is expected to be published in 2021. We were also highlighted as a best practise case study in the Productivity Commission's Inquiry into Mental Health, which was released recently. The Productivity Commission was responsible for the investigation.
Life Reset
First Step is pleased to offer the ResetLife Program, an abstinence-focused group therapy option for those battling alcohol or drug addiction, free of charge.
Referred to as the Matrix in the United States, ResetLife is an intensive outpatient programme. The sessions in this intensive and well-structured programme can be as small as one person or as large as an entire family.
The clients are guided through simulated environments where they are given the chance to apply the knowledge and skills they are being taught in order to overcome their substance abuse problems.
For those willing to go further in their recovery, First Step is happy to offer the ResetLife therapy modality. By using this method, First Step hopes to limit any unintended side effects.
To ensure the smooth operation of this programme, the ResetLife team has the full support of experts in the fields of addiction, mental health, and even legal matters.
A win-win for both First Step and the industry as a whole, the existence of such opportunities is encouraging.

Our Rehabilitation Programs
We provide programmes for recovery and methods of treatment for many different diseases that fall into the following three broad categories:
Addiction And Substance Abuse
It is possible to overcome and maintain sobriety from addiction to alcohol, prescription drugs, and illegal drugs.
Mental Health
Compromised Non-event-related mental health problems, like trauma and grief, often stem from underlying issues like low self-esteem, genetic predisposition, interpersonal difficulties, environmental pressures, or other factors.
Grief, Trauma, And PTSD
Even though our reactions to different illnesses can vary greatly, and even though the course, severity, and duration of an illness can vary from person to person, recovery is always possible.
Alcohol
The disease of alcoholism is characterised by a person's emotional and/or physical reliance on alcohol. It's a common coping mechanism for dealing with tough situations like loss, trauma, stress, or pressure. Some people are more likely to become alcoholics because of factors such as a lack of emotional resilience, low self-esteem, problems in the situation, context, and environment, and so on.
With the help of the Noosa Confidential programme, you won't need to drink to cope with life's challenges because you'll learn to do so in a healthy, productive way.
No matter which programme you choose, you can rest assured that it will be tailored specifically to you in order to help you overcome your alcoholism.
With a maximum of five guests at any given time, we are able to offer each one the highest level of individualised care that can be found in Australia.
We are here to help you, whether you are reaching out on your own behalf or on behalf of a loved one.

Addiction Solutions: Drug And Alcohol Rehab Melbourne
Rehabilitative services based on scientific evidence and offered at affordable rates in the Australian state of Victoria's capital city, Melbourne.
Established in 2015, Addiction Solutions Victoria (ASV) was a direct response to the widespread acceptance and personal experience of long-term sobriety from drug and alcohol addiction.
Anyone whose life has been negatively affected by another person's substance abuse can turn to ASV treatment programmes and family support services for evidence-based clinical support, psychological support, peer support, withdrawal and recovery support, and more.
Addiction is defined as a state of physical or psychological dependence on a substance or pattern of behaviour. It usually means that the habit has been maintained for a long time despite the negative effects it has had on the individual's social, familial, and/or health commitments.
Therapy with sufficient efficacy may be able to resolve this issue, but this is not always the case. Sometimes an addict will feel completely helpless because of their addiction. Any positive change in the long run will require effort and commitment.
To "recover" is, in the common understanding, to "heal," "break bad habits," and "rebuild" in order to move forwards in one's life and accomplish one's goals. It's not an easy road to travel, but the rewards of self-awareness and a healthy, clean lifestyle (both physically and emotionally) can make the effort worthwhile.
We should all do what we can to enjoy fulfilling, self-determined lives, and if we need help doing so, we should seek it out. More people than just alcoholics and addicts need access to rehabilitation programmes. Accordingly, ASV family support programmes aid in the identification and management of problems associated with a family member's or loved one's substance abuse.
Our drug and alcohol treatment programmes are competitively priced, and our staff is comprised of knowledgeable and dedicated professionals. If you or someone you care about is ready to make a change away from addictive behaviours and patterns, the ASV outpatient drug and alcohol addiction treatment programme can help.
Programs and Services Offered by ASV:
- Assessment and Management of Addiction Medicine
- Addiction Assessment and Management of Psychology
- Drug and Alcohol Addiction Treatment Programs at Home
- Peer Support and Mentoring in Psychotherapy and Counselling
- On-going Recovery Assistance – Aftercare – Return to Life Program
- Family Counseling
- Family Support Program - for Addicts' Families
- Solutions for Families Telephone / Skype Support Referral / Advocacy / Connection to relevant and appropriate supports and services
As a non-profit organisation, ASV is recognised by Consumer Affairs Victoria and the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC). Our Board of Directors consists of dedicated members of the community, professionals, those who have experienced addiction firsthand, and those who are currently in recovery. They are committed to making sure that ASV's drug and alcohol rehab programmes in the Melbourne area are successful for anyone who needs them.
For clients who would benefit from receiving treatment for their substance use disorders and transitioning into a recovery-oriented lifestyle in the comfort of their own homes, the Home-Based Rehabilitation Program offers individualised treatment plans. Clients who require rehabilitation to address substance use challenges and make the necessary transition into a recovery-focused position are the intended target audience for this programme. Due to the holistic methods used in this programme, the client can recover in the comfort of their own home under light supervision, all while still having access to critical care in an emergency. One integrative method that aids in regaining a client's dignity is engaging the family members of the patient.
In addition to being an Associate Member of the Institute of Community Directors (AMICDA), ASV is a member of the Association of Addiction Professionals (NAADAC), the Mental Health Academy (MHA), and the Australian Counselling Association (ACA).
Please remember that ASV is committed to delivering reliable, high-quality service and recovery aid to each and every one of our customers. Inadequate notice of a session cancellation by an ASV client renders the session invisible to all other ASV clients. If you need to cancel an appointment, please give us at least 12-24 hours' notice. If you don't show up for your appointment, you might be charged for it.

We provide a detox programme that lasts between 7 and 10 days in addition to a 28-day inpatient drug and alcohol treatment programme that emphasises abstinence. After admission, patients are assigned to a specialist multidisciplinary team consisting of psychiatrists, medical doctors, nurses, therapists, and other mental health care providers.
Moreover, we offer a ten-week outpatient programme that meets five days a week for half a day. The day programme uses evidence-based relapse prevention techniques from cognitive behavioural therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and dialectical behavioural therapy. All motivated patients are highly encouraged to continue their treatment by attending the outpatient programme after they have been released from the intensive in-patient programme.

TREATING DRUG ADDICTION WITH HOLISTIC CARE
Addiction to drugs is a debilitating disease that can affect every facet of a person's existence. Not only stupid people engage in this behaviour. Because addiction is uncontrollable, there is no such thing as a "functioning" addict. No one ever "grows out of" an addiction. In order to help their patients overcome these obstacles, the staff at the Hader Clinic, which specialises in drug addiction treatment, is cognisant of these misconceptions.
Drug addiction treatment focuses on the needs of each individual patient. People respond differently to drugs. All of our treatments, regardless of their individual parts, programmes, or costs, have been created with the overarching goal of ending the addiction cycle in mind.
HOW THE HADER CLINIC TREATS ALCOHOL ADDICTION
The problem of alcohol abuse is pervasive and widespread, especially among the young. Alcohol dependence often goes unrecognised and untreated due to the widespread nature of alcohol in modern culture. True, alcohol abuse can lead to severe dependence and ruin lives all around.
We recognise that a comprehensive addiction requires a comprehensive treatment plan. Patients at the Hader Clinic, a private hospital with a focus on addiction treatment, are given assistance with detox and withdrawal as soon as they arrive. Then we give patients tailored treatment plans that are affordable and incorporate multiple options. Patients who are treated using this framework have a high probability of making a complete and lasting recovery.
ALCOHOL ADDICTION AND WITHDRAWAL
Patients who have been abusing alcohol regularly are at risk for serious complications during the withdrawal process. Though the severity of withdrawal symptoms varies from patient to patient, it is never as simple as "drying out."
Negative effects of alcohol withdrawal, even after one day, include:
- Nausea and vomiting
- Anxiety and depression
- Shaking and tremors
- Disturbed sleep
- Excessive sweating
Patients with severe conditions are at higher risk for experiencing seizures and hallucinations in the initial days of treatment. Delirium tremens, characterised by acute confusion and an increase in sympathetic activity that can lead to cardiac arrest, may even occur in some patients.
The Hader Clinic is a medical centre that focuses on treating alcoholics with the help of doctors, nurses, and medication. We begin by addressing the addiction's physical manifestations, and then move on to the psychological issues that underlie them. With the help of this multifaceted strategy, patients can move on to later phases of the rehabilitation process.

Bali Luxury Alcohol Addiction Treatment
When compared to addiction to illegal narcotics, alcohol addiction (also known as alcoholism) can be more challenging to diagnose. This is because alcoholic beverages are generally accepted in society, while illegal drugs are not. Many people have doubts about their own alcoholism, which can keep them from getting the help they need to live a healthier, more fulfilling life.
The Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders specifies the following symptoms as indicative of alcohol use disorder:
- Alcohol consumption in larger amounts or for longer periods of time than planned is a common practise.
- There is a constant need to reduce or better manage alcohol consumption, as well as futile attempts.
- The steps that must be taken in order to obtain alcohol, consume alcohol, or recover from its effects all require a significant amount of time.
- The word "craving" has several definitions, one of which is a strong urge or desire to consume alcohol.
- Regular alcohol use makes it challenging to fulfil significant obligations, whether at work, school, or home.
maintaining alcohol consumption despite persistent or frequent issues with social or interpersonal interactions that are brought on by or made worse by alcohol's effects - Significant social, professional, or recreational activities are either completely abandoned because of alcohol use, or they are drastically scaled back.
regular alcohol use while being in potentially dangerous circumstances
They still drink alcohol despite knowing that it has likely contributed to or even been the primary cause of a chronic or recurrent health issue.
The following are just a few of the many advantages of our alcohol treatment programme:
- There can never be more than six residents at once, allowing for a highly individualised approach to treatment to be used in a comforting and loving environment.
- At this facility, there are two on-site clinical psychologists and a sizable clinical staff who have experience treating addiction as well as knowledge of comorbid disorders like post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), anxiety, and depression.
- According to best practises for clinical care and safety, there is nursing staff on duty at the facility every day of the week, 24 hours a day.

- Twenty beds are available in a residential facility in Victoria's picturesque Grampians. The Windana Therapeutic Community is the name of this establishment. The three-month duration of the programme at Windana's Grampians TC is intended to allow for completion.
- The therapeutic and educational components of the community as method approach that Windana employs benefit residents who engage in self-help and mutual-help activities.
- We strongly advise our guests to refrain from smoking throughout their stay because this is a smoke-free establishment.

In that case, you won't be able to speak to anyone at work for the first two weeks, with the exception of any children who are financially dependent on you. It is crucial that you inform them of this before going to the TC so that they won't be concerned that you won't be in touch.
- Residents are only permitted to bring in things that are easily portable on their own. You are only permitted to bring a maximum of two bags or one large suitcase with you due to the limited storage space in the cupboards; a list of what to bring will be provided at the time of the evaluation.

Areas of expertise
Addiction and the abuse of substances
A dependency on alcohol or drugs is possible for anyone who regularly consumes large amounts of either substance. Because of this, it's hard for them to carry on with their day as usual. Substance abuse and addiction are diseases that negatively impact both physical and mental health.
Substance abuse can cause long-lasting damage to the body and brain. It's a major contributor to the onset of mental illness.
Substances abused and the severity of the addiction both play a role in determining the best course of treatment for those struggling with substance abuse and addiction. Treatment may involve a variety of approaches, including psychiatric and psychological care, self-help and support group participation, as well as interventions provided by mental health professionals.
At Albert Road Clinic, how do we treat addiction?
Albert Road Clinic provides comprehensive care for people with co-occurring disorders like substance abuse and mental illness or destructive addictions.
Residential treatment, detoxification services, and day patient rehabilitation and prevention programmes are all part of the Addictions Service's offerings. There is a need for an all-encompassing evaluation service for all of these.
This service employs the Stages of Change Model, which seeks to foster a therapeutic atmosphere that, in addition to addressing issues related to substance dependence, places an emphasis on improved quality of life, seeking support, healthy reactions to stress, and personal functioning.
Some parts of the integrated therapeutic model are as follows:
- CBT, or cognitive behavioural therapy, is a method of treating mental health conditions that emphasises problem-solving through action and task-orientation.
- The term "Motivation Enhancement Therapy," or "MET," refers to a technique that helps people get over their anxiety about starting treatment and quitting using drugs.
- Candidates for psychoeducation, which is the process of educating and informing those who are looking for or receiving treatment for mental health, are those who need or are receiving treatment for mental health.
- Through group psychotherapy, people can discover new things about themselves, which helps them get better at interacting with others.
The programme works closely with referring doctors to reduce the risk of relapse for their patients. For the benefit of the patients, this ensures the best possible care is provided.
Services for Outpatients
Patients may have the option of receiving psychiatric care outside of a hospital setting through the Albert Road Clinic's outpatient treatment programme. You'll be seeing a psychiatrist in one of our private consultation rooms as an outpatient. Psychiatrists at the Albert Road clinic provide a variety of outpatient services, including diagnostic evaluations, second opinions, acute and chronic care, and therapy. At this consultation, you and your psychiatrist will work together to create a treatment plan that is tailored to your specific needs and meets the goals you discussed in your referral. At this consultation, we will also talk about how many appointments you may need.
